Garden along sessions

90 minutes to slow down, tune into your senses as you garden so that you can feel free, lighter, re-energised and more like yourself again.

This is for you if:

  • You’re already a paid member of the Seed and you’re looking to crack through some of the activities i’ve given you in the membership.

  • You are somebody who has loads of things they want to get done in the garden but never really finds the time, this is 90 minutes to garden in community with others for accountability and support.

  • You are really curious about spending more time in your garden but you don’t feel that clear about where to start, this session will be a perfect place for you to take that first step with our support.

If you’re not ready to join the Seed, you don’t have any gardening activities in mind but you still want to come along you are so welcome. Just put that in the chat at the start of the session and we’ll have a 5 minute chat to get you set.

Cost: £10 a session or get a full year’s access for £100 when you join my horticultural therapy membership the Seed.

  • Head out into your garden with your phone or laptop 5 minutes before the start time of your chosen session.

  • Click on the zoom link and share in the chat what gardening activity you’d like to get done in the session (for inspiration join the Seed and get access to my year round horticultural therapy activities).

  • I’ll walk you through my FEEL framework to make your gardening session as impactful as possible.

  • We’ll garden for 3 x 20 minute blocks (with 5 minutes in between) using the FEEL framework before we come back together at the end to review our progress in the garden and notice how we’re feeling.

Hello! I'm Kendall Platt, a Horticultural Therapist and Founder at Adventures with Flowers

I help women to turn chaos to calm in their garden and their mind.

I do this through horticultural therapy led gardening sessions that reconnect you to your body, your space and your sense of self.

I am able to help because I’m a busy working mum to two little girls myself so I know how hard it is to claim time for yourself when you have so many other things to do.

BUT

I also know that starting to slow down, and taking that time for you to quiet your mind is THE single most powerful thing you can do for yourself and those little people who look up to you.

I’ve spent years finding ways to quickly create headspace and grow my garden at the same time that works for my hectic life so I know that you don't need to change your entire lifestyle to make a difference in your life and garden.

I know this because I've helped many clients start to ease off the accelerator, slow down and reconnect with themselves, just by taking small moments of time to garden.

That’s why I now focus on teaching horticultural therapy activities that take between 5 and 20 minutes a day because physically and mentally we are busier than ever, so we need methods that fit into our lives.
